Alberta PAT Test Grade 9
Free Alberta PAT practice questions for Grade 6 and Grade 9 reading, writing and math.
Every Alberta student in Grade 6 and Grade 9 writes the PAT each spring.
Alberta students in Grade 6 and Grade 9 write the Provincial Achievement Tests in reading, writing and mathematics each spring. The tests are written at school and follow the Alberta curriculum rather than a national one.
Each part is scored as a percentage and as a score out of 1000, then compared with provincial averages. Because the tests are curriculum-based, the most useful preparation is practising the kinds of questions each part actually asks — including the short written answers where explaining your thinking earns marks.
